Frequently Asked Questions

Is Prolozone safe?

When performed by trained clinicians, Prolozone is well-tolerated. Risks are minimal but may include temporary soreness or mild irritation.

Does Prolozone therapy hurt?

Most patients find Prolozone to be very tolerable. You may feel a brief pinch or pressure during the injection, followed by a mild, temporary ache as the ozone and oxygen spread through the tissues. Any discomfort usually subsides quickly, and most patients can resume normal activities the same day. For sensitive areas or deeper injections, we can use topical numbing or Pro-Nox for added comfort.

How many treatments are needed?

Most patients respond within a few sessions depending on chronicity and location of pain.

When will I feel results?

Some feel improvement within a day or two; others improve gradually over a series.

Will I miss work?
